This is a great place to join since I am new to the area and had been looking for people to network with. So far I have been able to connect with people from several architectural firms, city planners and a number of local "movers and shakers" in the business world. Word of mouth an a reference from someone you've met sure does help open some of those doors! Thanks to everyone here for all the help you've given me. Southern hospitality is alive and well!

It seems like there is a trend to "wall off" entire city blocks to vehicle traffic. I have heard they are thinking of doing this downtown Norfolk - as well as discussions occurring in Yorktown, Hampton, Newport News and Richmond. Even the Mayor of New York has jumped on the bandwagon and wants to block traffic from Times Square (for real - no joke!). I have looked all over the city trying to find a photo printer that can print on unusual surfaces. I found one bed printer that cost over 800K - way beyond my budget. Also need a good source for inks and paints, canvas, and so on. Any help would be appreciated!
